Residents may be aware that Brentwood Borough Council are conducting a Local Governance Review, which includes a review of the Parishes within the Borough. As part of the initial consultation, Parish Councils were provided with a survey to complete regarding governance, boundary lines etc. As a result of Stage 1 of the consultation, unbeknown to Mountnessing, Ingatestone and Fryerning Parish Council have submitted a proposal to take the following areas into the ward of Ingatestone & Fryerning – Lower end of Heybridge Road, Mountney Close, Court View, Burnthouse Lane, Blossom Park, the recycling centre and the Bushcade area.
