St. Giles’ Church

St Giles is the Mountnessing Church of England parish church. The church is next to Mountnessing Hall in Old Church Lane. It is a beautiful church admired by all who visit the building. The oldest part dates from the 11^th century.

There are Sunday services every week at 9.30am.
The church is part of a grouping comprising St Mary’s Buttsbury, St Margaret’s Margaretting, St Mary the Virgin Fryerning, and St Edmund and St Mary Ingatestone.
